In a time of conflict, divide, and hope for change, this project is aimed at representing American histories. Peaches Harrison and I will drive across the country and document objects, people, and their relationships in an attempt to capture and share their memories.
This project is centered around the representation of individuals and their belonging to a larger whole through the metaphoric and literal connection between humans and objects. In reminding people of the meaning of craft, the human element within the object, we are building a very unique perspective on individual American lives, communities, and how each one belongs no where else, but here.
